February 18, 2012 (Saturday) 2012 Annual SDVSA Temecula Valley Wine Tour. Saturday, February 18, 2012. Meeting point will be at 10:00 AM at the 7-11 Gas Station at the Scott Road exit of I-215 in Murrieta. You'll receive a map and directions for the tour. We have added a stop at the Diamond Valley Lake for a photo op. We'll then head East on Domenigoni Parkway and then north past the eastern side of the lake into Temecula Valley. After our stops at two select wineries we'll motor on into Old Town Temecula for an afternoon lunch at Sweet Lumpys BBQ. We can conveniently park on the roof of the municipal parking structure to the rear as we did last year. Click for pdf flyer.

April 14-15, 2011 2012 Scandinavian Festival. Bring your Volvos! Location: California Lutheran University, 60 West Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks, CA. The Scandinavian Festival has been a tradition at California Lutheran University for over 30 years. Both days will be filled with music, dancing, food, lectures, demonstrations, vendors, and lots of activities for children. Scandinavian crafts offered: Danish Paper Cutting, Finish Friendship Bracelets, Icelandic Paper Volcanos, Norwegian Card Wool, and Swedish Dala Horse Puppets. The organizers have requested that Volvo enthusiasts BRING YOUR VOLVOS for a display. ALL YEARS WELCOME. No registration needed. April 29, 2012 (Sunday) 14th Annual DAVIS VOLVO SHOW and SWAP MEET. The Golden Gate chapter of VCOA is hosting the event for the 14th year. Sunday the 29th will be the traditional Davis Volvo Show and Swap Meet at Davis Central Park, 3rd and C Streets, Davis, CA. Details can be found at the Golden Gate chapter's website: http://ggvcoa.org/. This event draws Volvos old and new from all over the western U.S. Only a 6 hour drive from SoCal. A great event!
