Jim Haughey, owner of K-PAX Racing and VCOA member, invited club members to cheer on the two K-PAX S60R Volvos in the Speed World-Challenge GT racing series.  If you're not familiar with K-PAX Racing, check out the September/October edition of Rolling Magazine on page 15 for their current story, or click their web site below.

The K-Pax team provided a great techical talk with the drivers and crew and allowed a crowd of Volvo fans close-up access to the K-Pax Volvos.  K-Pax has won two races so far this year and finished well in many others, beating Porsches, Vipers, Mustangs and Corvettes.   

The K-PAX Team  raced on Sunday, October 11, at 2:45 pm.  The Number 1 car, driven by Randy Pobst, came in second behind the GMG Porsche, driven by James Sofronas.  Andy Pilgrim finished 5th in the number 8 Volvo.
